Lunch At Liberty 25, Toronto

My food savy nephew, whose office is in Liberty Village has been at me to try this resto.

Pulled duck confit on "French baguette" with aioli, snow pea shoots, caramelized onion and brie partnered with a good, fresh caesar style salad. A very tasty sandwich.

A delicious mushroom and spinach soup with a veal based broth. I particularly liked the texture of the slightly undercooked, mushrooms. The soup was sided with a very good lamb shepherd's pie which was filled with pearl onions, heirloom carrots, fennel and mushrooms.

This resto is worth the journey, for a good lunch, if you are in the area.
